Upcoming online teacher training sessions!

Formez-vous! The Educational Service is delighted to offer the following teacher trainings online in April of 2022 (and stay tuned for upcoming back-to-school sessions in September, October and November). Start off your year with these trainings that will provide you with great ideas on how to engage and motivate your students--no matter the context! Click this link to sign up for the following training sessions.

Participants will receive (upon request) a certification of participation for the hours of the training that can be used to prove professional development hours.

1. Favoriser l'apprentissage de la phonétiaque with François Blondel of France Education International's BELC program: Saturday, April 2 and Saturday, April 9 from 11 AM to 2 PM (EST).

Help your students to master their pronunciation with innovative exercises and activities that target the rhythm, melody, and sound of the French language while integrating the gestures of a native speaker. All levels welcome!

2. Exploiter le jeu à des fins pédagogiques with Julien Cardon of France Education International's BELC program: Saturday, April 23 and Saturday, April 30 from 11 AM to 2 PM (EST).

Learn how to create interactive games to teach critical themes and lessons to your students. What concepts can best be taught by play? What different types of games exist, and for what purposes?  How can we best adapt these games to a learning context? Explore these questions and more in this training session! All levels welcome.
