International Day of Education Symposium

Education: A Human Right, a Public Good, and a Public Responsibility

As COVID-19 rages across the globe, countries closed schools impacting more than 91% of students worldwide.

The UN Sustainable Development Goal on education challenges nations to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all” by 2030. Yet, inequalities in education persist across the globe and have only been exacerbated in the past year. What actions can we take to improve better educational outcomes for all?

Join a special virtual symposium to mark International Day of Education 2021 and examine how inclusive, quality education will be critical in supporting our most vulnerable populations.
