Eisenhower International School Awarded The Labelfranceducation

Eisenhower International School is an elementary school in Tulsa, Oklahoma, with a French dual language program since 1993, from PreK to 5th grade. Immersion is total until 2nd grade, when English is introduced for an hour a day and then gradually added until 50/50 immersion is attained in 5th grade. 

Because of its incredible program and dedication to French language and culture, Eisenhower International School received the LabelFrancEducation in August 2016.

The LabelFrancEducation was Launched in 2012 and is a seal is granted to schools promoting French language and culture as part of their specific curriculum. "LabelFrancÉducation" recognizes and rewards public or private schools that offer students enhanced instruction in the French language while also teaching other subjects in French. "LabelFrancÉducation" promotes outstanding education in French among students and parents.

"LabelFrancÉducation" is granted by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs based on the advice of an interministerial advisory committee composed of representatives from the French Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Education, the Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE), the French institute (IF) and Mission Laïque Française, a non-profit organization.
